Jennifer Lopez: I Spend Every Free Moment with the Babies

Jennifer Lopez is famous for her multitasking career as a singer, actress, designer and dancer. But motherhood has taken her juggling act to a whole new level.

Until recently, Lopez and husband Marc Anthony, who welcomed twins Max and Emme in February, didn't have a nanny to help out with child care.

"I did it for a long time but we started using a nanny a few weeks ago," says Lopez, 39. "[Most days] I get up early with them. Then when the nanny comes, I can take a shower and give them their breakfast. She's there to help me get things done."

As for getting back to work, Lopez says she'll take it a day at a time. "It's gonna be a learning experience. How will I do both? I try to take breaks from work," she tells PEOPLE. "I'll do a little work with the choreographers and then come back. I try to spend every free moment with the babies."

The mornings are her favorite time with the twins. "When they see you and have that big smile on their face – I live for that," she says. "And when I put them to bed at night and they melt in your arms. I give them a bottle and wind it down. I say, 'It's time for beddy-bye.' I hold them and sing a little song. By the time you know it, they are asleep."

Adding to her bliss: Lopez is perfectly happy with her post-baby body. "The triathlon really helped get me in better shape, and snapped me back into my body," she says, referring to last weekend's Nautica Malibu Triathlon. "I don't weigh myself a lot. I still have 10 lbs., or so. [But] I don't have any problems with it. I never felt I had to get rid of it.">Source:http://www.people.com/

Asked how she stays so sane about her body image, she laughs: "We like to eat!" On a serious note, she adds, "I think you have to love yourself and indulge when you want to, as well as be happy and just have a healthy attitude towards it."

Besides, she notes, "Marc loves the way I look!"

Brad Pitt Gives $100,000 to Fight Gay Marriage Ban

The same week he and Angelina Jolie pledged $2 million to help fight tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia, Brad Pitt has given $100,000 to stop a California ballot initiative that would ban same-sex marriage – the largest donation so far from a prominent individual in the entertainment industry, reports Variety.

"Because no one has the right to deny another their life even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn't harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8," Pitt, who gave to the group Californians Against Eliminating Basic Rights, said in a statement.

A spokeswoman for the organization ProtectMarriage, which supports passage of Proposition 8, said of Pitt, "We certainly respect his right in the political process, but we don’t believe he is the most exemplary figure on the issue of marriage.">Source:http://www.people.com

Lindsay Lohan loves her some leggings

Maybe you've heard that Lindsay Lohan loves her some leggings. In fact, her affection for the style was so strong, the multitalented actress launched her own line of footless legwear back in July. Well, now Lohan has plans to dabble into the beauty realm — in the form of a natural self-tanning lotion.

According to WWD, Lohan, who's working under the label 6126 (Marilyn Monroe's birthday), intends to launch the lotion around Spring 2009. In conjunction with this new development, she'll also be offering a lower-priced line of leggings to make the style more available to the masses.

Although the name of the self-tanner has yet to be released, it will be odor free (yeah!) and contain natural ingredients (even better). Expect to see the product line the shelves of higher-end stores such as Nordstrom and Sephora. Of her latest endeavor, Lohan explained her thought process behind launching a tanning lotion. “Why not?” she said in an interview. “Girls use [self-tanners] all the time. And I do, and it makes sense.” >source:http://bellasugar.com

Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger & Beau 'Goof Around'

Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger says her boyfriend, Formula One race car driver Lewis Hamilton, has "brightened" her life.

Hawaii-born Scherzinger, 30, met the British driver, 23, at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Munich last year, and tells Hello! magazine how she "was so tired, but he walked into the room and brightened it up to no end."

Since that day, "We go out, goof around and enjoy life. Why not? We're both young and having fun."

As for media attention on their romance, "We are both used to it," she says.

"Lots of stars complain about it but you know, it's part of the job – we both have successful careers, and he is great for someone so young and focused. I have learned so much from him on how to make it through."

Scherzinger also hints that the romance may be headed for something more serious beyond just goofing around.

"One of the highlights for both of us this year was attending the Nelson Mandela 90th birthday dinner in London," says the singer. "I mean it says something that we went as a couple."

As for marriage in the future, she says, "I believe in it more with each year – every girl does. We all strive to find a soulmate. Have I found mine yet? Keep watching!">Source: http://www.people.com | By Mari Kasanuki, originally posted Wednesday August 27, 2008

Stars band together to fight cancer

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- The competition among TV networks, movie studios and A-list stars can be fierce, but the fight against cancer will unite them on September 5. More than 60 celebrities will participate in Stand Up to Cancer, a live fund- and awareness-raising television special that will air simultaneously on ABC, NBC and CBS.

Jessica Alba, Halle Berry, Jack Black, Sheryl Crow, Ellen DeGeneres, Jennifer Garner, Diane Keaton, Rob Lowe, Sharon Osbourne, Keanu Reeves and Carrie Underwood are among the stars set to appear, it was announced Wednesday.

They'll join previously announced participants including Salma Hayek, Scarlett Johansson, Lance Armstrong, America Ferrera, Meryl Streep, Charlize Theron and Forest Whitaker.

The celebrities, along with network news anchors Katie Couric, Charles Gibson and Brian Williams, will deliver an evening of "edutainment," said executive producer Laura Ziskin, a cancer survivor who helped establish the event and the nonprofit group behind it.

"There will be laughter. There will be tears. And you'll learn something about how we can turn the outcome of this disease if we just set our minds to it," Ziskin said.

Ziskin described the special as "a phone-in, a sit-in, a love-in."

"People can call in and talk to their favorite celebrity" when making donations, Ziskin said.

Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige and Rihanna are among a group of singers who will debut their single, "Just Stand Up," which will benefit cancer research.

The aim of the event is to encourage scientists to work together to improve overall cancer care and prognoses, Ziskin said.

"This is what we're asking the whole cancer community to do," she said. "Put aside your competitive issues and come together for the greater good.">Source:http://www.cnn.com

Rumer's Premiere Fan Club: Bruce, Demi and Ashton!

No awkwardness here! One of Hollywood's most famous families came out Wednesday to celebrate Rumer Willis's first major movie role.

Willis's amicably divorced parents, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, attended the Westwood premiere of the comedy House Bunny – and both brought along their significant others. (That would be Ashton Kutcher – wearing a suit and scruffy sneakers – and model Emma Heming, respectively.) The exes also escorted their two younger daughters Tallulah and Scout.

"[My family] has always just been very supportive," Rumer told PEOPLE on the red carpet. "I'm very grateful."

Wearing a Reem Acra dress, the budding actress, 20, was joined by her boyfriend actor Micah Alberti, who made small talk with Kutcher before posing for a family photo.

Once inside, the whole family sat together on an aisle in the middle of theater, chatting with friends before the movie started. Papa Bruce, 53 and sporting a white beard, held court at the edge of the aisle while Moore, 45, talked with girlfriends.

The last public appearance of the entire Willis-Kutcher-Moore five years ago – when the whole crew came together for the 2003 premiere of Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle.>source:http://www.people.com | By Nicholas White
